Maar twee keer dippen geeft extra knapperigheid en een dikkere laag.<br><br>Doe de tofu, water, Ocean'ish en een snufje zout in een pan. Dek af met een deksel en laat 5 minuten sudderen. Laat de tofu vervolgens een nacht in de pan marineren.<br><br>Meng het beslag met het water uit de pan in plaats van kraanwater. Laat het een paar minuten zitten om in te dikken. Voeg een beetje meer water toe als dat nodig is. De consistentie moet lijken op pannenkoekenbeslag.<br><br>Verhit een ruime hoeveelheid olie in een koekenpan (frituren is niet nodig).<br>Doop de stukjes tofu \u00e9\u00e9n voor \u00e9\u00e9n in het beslag. Bak ze goudbruin aan elke kant, ongeveer 3 minuten per kant.<br>Doop ze nogmaals in het beslag en bak ze nog een keer voor een extra krokant laagje als je dat lekker vindt.<br><br>Maak je geen zorgen als een stuk tofu uit elkaar valt. Houd het samen in je hand, laat het voorzichtig in het beslag zakken, draai het om, til het dan als \u00e9\u00e9n handvol op en leg het voorzichtig in de hete olie.
